I can relate to all that Melissa stated, been battling the gastroporesis symptoms for ten years, just got diagnosed 4 years ago and now a new gastro specialist is questioning if I even have it cause my gastric emptying study came back semi normal, and I have a SSI hearing too, have not been able to work due to being in extreme pain, vomiting, and diarrhea episodes consistently, and extreme muscle spasms in stomach every day now. I am frustrated, very weak, and tired of having doctors just not seem to take my symptoms seriously, for it takes a toll on you in every aspect, because of changes how you live your life and those who live with you. For your eating habits are affected, drinking, hanging out, all of it changes, so I get what she goes thru all the way. My stomach looks pregnant all the time from from being so bloated, uncomfortable. Just want some answers and relief too, and we would love to work if we can, but what job would keep a person who has to be by a restroom consistently cause the urge of having to go is so bad, you can’t function??
